Do customers need to download an app?

No. Customers simply scan a QR code with their smartphone to check in. LINE notifications require the LINE app, but all other channels are completely app-free.

Yes, a 7-day free trial is available with no credit card required. You can try all features during the trial period.

How long does setup take?

You can get started in as little as 5 minutes. After creating your account, simply print the QR code and place it in your store.

Where should I place the QR code?

Place it anywhere customers can easily see it — entrances, reception counters, tables. You can download a ready-to-print QR poster from the admin dashboard at any time.

What is Kiosk Mode and what do I need for it?

Kiosk Mode turns a tablet into a self-service check-in terminal. Customers complete check-in on the tablet, which automatically resets after 30 seconds. You'll need a tablet (such as an iPad) and a stand.

What if a customer can't scan the QR code?

Staff can register the customer directly from the admin dashboard. You can also share the check-in URL verbally or via a shortened link.

Yes. Staff can add customers directly using the 'Add Customer' feature in the admin dashboard, entering their name and contact information.

Which notification apps are supported?

SimpleQueue supports LINE. Customers receive notifications through the app they already use. Those who don't use LINE can follow their place in line from the browser with no app required. See the sections below for setup details.

How do I set up LINE notifications?

Create a LINE Business ID (free), then visit LINE Official Account Manager to set up your account. Afterwards, enter your channel ID and secret in the SimpleQueue admin dashboard to connect.

What should I do if notifications aren't delivered?

Check your notification channel settings and integration details. For LINE, verify channel settings and friend status. Contact support if the issue persists.

Can I configure when advance notifications are sent?

Yes. The advance notification feature lets you send a 'Your turn is coming up in X customers' message at a timing you configure.

Is a credit card required for the free trial?

How do I end the day's check-ins?

Use the 'End Today's Check-ins' button in the admin dashboard to stop new check-ins. Existing waiting customers can still be called.

Yes. SimpleQueue supports 10 languages: Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.

How does the language switch work?

The check-in screen opens in the language your store has set. Customers can switch to their own language at any time using the language selector on the screen.

Repeater Analysis automatically records and tracks visit frequency and last visit date. Information like 'Xth visit' and 'last visited X days ago' is shared across all staff in real time.

You can record notes such as allergy information, VIP status, and special requests on each customer's profile. These are shared in real time with all staff members.

What does "see who has stopped coming" do?

It shows how many people came a few times and then stopped for a while. You can filter the directory to see exactly who they are and check each one. No notifications are sent.
